Todd Albright, Creative Designer
Todd is a relatively recent member of the team, having joined DENTALEZ in 2019, but it’s hard to imagine our marketing team without him. He’s a creative force matched with a positive and helpful personality. He doesn’t just design, he tackles each project with thorough research to come to a true understanding of our products and how they match dentists’ needs. He’s constantly coming up with exciting ways to show our products in their best light.
We asked Todd to tell us a little about how he arrived in this position with us, and which products he most enjoys creating around.
What roles had you previously held (whether at DENTALEZ or another company) that either made it possible for you to enter your desired field or helped you learn specific things for your position today?
I started out as a graphic designer over 20 years ago and my passion for design has grown over those years. Gaining the position of Art Director at previous companies has given me the particular set of skills needed to perform at a high level here at DENTALEZ.
What do you like about working in the dental industry?
I enjoy learning about all the dental products and how they are used in the field of dentistry. Not only do I get to design the collateral for most products, but I also get to learn about the product and how the dentist can benefit and improve their practice. The recent focus with DENTALEZ in the advancement of integrating technology into dental products is fascinating and will continue to improve the industry overall.
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
My favorite part is creating a visual solution to describe and illustrate each product in its own unique way and how it will change and improve the dental industry. Another favorite aspect of mine is that I get to creatively unify every aspect of the brand and push the boundaries of my creativity doing so. Coming up with several different successful design solutions is very satisfying and enjoyable and I look forward to doing so for many years here.
What’s your favorite DENTALEZ product and why?
My favorite product is the Aeras 500 Elite because, as a designer, I like the sleek look, but it also has so many benefits with its capabilities and technology.
On the other hand, my favorite aspect of a product is the designer-friendly capability that our equipment line has to offer. Being in the creative field I love how you can choose from an array of color options for the upholstery and the custom paint for the rest of the chair packages. Like anyone, I love choices and the equipment line offers many wonderful color options to choose from so I like that our dentists also can customize their entire operatory package the way they want it to look!
